In March each year, after three months of probation all elected or appointed student leaders of the school are officially installed and sworn in to that position of responsibility. Student leaders include school prefects, student council leaders and the shadow government, class leaders and assistants, presidents of clubs, games and uniform bodies and librarians. Students usually hold their positions for one academic year and are given certificates of merit if they carry out their duties diligently and with dedication.
